Cactus Restaurants - Flavors of Mexico and the Southwest

Located on the western shore of Lake Washington, Madison Park is one of Seattle's most distinguished neighborhoods. Evocative of the family oriented neighborhoods from 1950's television, Madison Park’s business district features more than 60 diverse neighborhood businesses located along its tree-lined streets. Business owners are likely to know their customers’ names as shoppers relax with a cup of cappuccino at tables set up along bustling sidewalks or browse in one of the neighborhood's many independently owned shops.

Opened in 1990, the original Cactus was quite humble. In these early days, we were cooking Spanish "tapas" on beer crates using camping equipment. Thankfully, we've evolved a bit since then. In fact, in January of 2010 we closed for two weeks to expand our kitchen and update our dining room. Our goal was to improve both the quality of seating for our guests (spacing between tables) and the work environment for our employees. While change is hard, especially when it works well, we couldn’t be happier with the results. Our guests love the new look and our employees are overjoyed to work in an environment that actually helps them in their mission to enable your happiness. We look forward to seeing you (and showing off!) soon.
